Appointment Ape LLC ("Appointment Ape," "we," "us") provides appointment-setting services to home-improvement contractors. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information — including the information of homeowners we contact on behalf of our contractor clients, and visitors to appointmentape.com.
Information we collect
Homeowner lead information. When a homeowner requests a quote through a home-services platform (such as Angi, Fixr, or Thumbtack), that platform and the contractor share the request with us so we can schedule the estimate the homeowner asked for. This typically includes name, phone number, email, service address, and details of the requested project, along with the record of the homeowner's consent to be contacted.
Website visitors. If you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide (name, company, email, phone, message).
How we use information
We use homeowner information solely to schedule the home-improvement estimate the homeowner requested: contacting them by phone, text message, or email on behalf of the contractor they requested a quote from, and booking the appointment. We use contractor inquiries to respond and provide our services.
Text messaging (SMS) privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party or lead generator. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are used only to deliver the messages the consumer consented to receive.
Consumers receive text messages from us only after submitting a home-improvement service request through a lead platform or contractor and consenting to be contacted about that request. Sharing of information
We share homeowner information only with the contractor who is fulfilling that homeowner's quote request, and with service providers who help us operate (e.g., telephone/messaging carriers, scheduling and database providers) under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Do-Not-Call compliance
Before outreach, phone numbers are screened against the National Do Not Call Registry, applicable state registries, and our internal do-not-contact list. Anyone may request addition to our internal do-not-contact list at any time using the contact below or by replying STOP.
Data retention & security
We retain lead, consent, and communication records as needed to provide our services and to demonstrate compliance with telemarketing laws, then delete or anonymize them. Data is stored with access controls and encryption in transit.
Your choices
To opt out of communications, reply STOP to any text, tell any caller, or contact us below. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
